ABOUT EDENS VALE LODGE
We are a small family run Business situated in the heart of the Eden Valley, surrounded by countryside. Crafted from larch, our log cabin in Cumbria is not only completely bespoke; but it is also entirely luxurious with a two person outdoor tub on the veranda looking out upon the view as well as a sauna, perfectly sized for two people to relax in.
OUR LUXURY LOG CABIN IN CUMBRIA
The log cabin has a large handmade king-size bed along with Freeview tv, fully fitted kitchen, towels/bathrobes, bathroom with a large walk in shower, sofa, wood burner, breakfast bar as well as a dining area outside on the veranda. Make the most of the sauna and then jump in the wood fired hot tub or if you are feeling brave use it as a cold plunge pool after your sauna.

Supplies
Our luxury log cabin is self catering, however tea and coffee, sugar, cooking oil, hot chocolate and even a bottle of wine is supplied. Please contact us directly for special requests.
Sauna
Time spent in the sauna comes with many health benefits including increased circulation, relieves aches and pains and is great for respiratory conditions such as asthma. its also great for skin releasing all toxins giving you a healthy glow, just like a spa experience!
Outdoor Bath
Have a holistic soak in our outdoor bath while you look out and enjoy the view of the historical Settle to Carlisle viaduct built between 1869 and 1876, spotting the occasional steam train! The bath is heated by a wood fire and because it requires no chemicals it is much kinder on your body, hair and environment, it can also be a cold plunge pool for those that are brave enough to take a cold dip after being in the sauna!
Dining
Our kitchen is a small well equipped area for self -catering. Our appliances include an oven, microwave, dishwasher, gas hob, toaster, fridge as well as cutlery, glassware, mugs and plates; so all you need to bring is your food and yourself!
Logs
Bags of logs for the inside fire and the outdoor bath are provided, however extra bags come at a charge of £12.50. All our logs are sustainably sourced.
Romantic Escape
Our log cabin is the perfect romantic escape for two. Why not make it even more special with a luxurious bottle of champagne and flowers (for more information about this added extra please ask) .

SEE AND DO
Relax
Choose to spend your day relaxing in our fabulous sauna and wood fired outdoor bath taking in the view and serenity of the woodland that surrounds the lodge. Keep an eye out for the local Cumbrian wildlife too which also calls our cabin's surroundings home!
Leisure Activities
The local swimming pool at Hunsonby is a short three minute car journey and is open from April to September. As well as this, book yourself in for a relaxing massage close by, which must be booked in advance of your stay. (Please contact Jenna at Enhanced Beauty By Jenna directly)
Long Meg
Just a short walk from Edens Vale log cabin you can find long meg and her daughters, a bronze age stone circle with a diameter of around 350 feet making it the second largest in the country. There are many mythical stories of long meg and how she came about, ask the locals and see which one you believe!
The Lake District
We are situated just a stones throw away from the stunning Lake District, within 15 minutes you can be at Pooley Bridge on the shores of Lake Ullswater where you can also find the Ullswater Steamers and many other attractions and restaurants.
Local walks & C2C
Keep busy with local walks including Lacey's Caves, a sandstone cliff with five chambers carved into it on the side of the river Eden. We are situated along the Coast to Coast route, perfect for bikers! As well as this we are only a mile and 1/2 away from the local pub and shop/post office.
Horse Riding
We are extremely lucky to be so close to a fantastic family run riding school which caters to novice riders all the way to the most experienced. Book in for a private lesson or go for a hack around long meg stopping off for a hot chocolate on your way! (please contact Bank House near Penrith to directly to book in)
There are lots of lovely local places to eat including The Highland Drove, The Shepherds in Langwathby, as well as a number of takeaways, pubs, restaurants and cafes in Penrith which is around a 10 minute drive away.
